Our next Grand Ball will be held on April 13, 2012. This is the second evening of contra dancing at the Wayside Inn that the Sudbury Companies of Militia and Minute hold each year. Our first contra dance of the year, the Twelfth Night Ball, was held on January 13. Check out slides of a past Twelfth Night Ball and Grand Ball.
The dances are "called" and start off simple, becoming a little more complicated and elegant as the evening and drink flow. The public is welcome, and, no, you do not need colonial attire or a partner to participate.
