Muster of Companies of Fyfes & Drums |
Following the parade of fyfes & drums, each group returns to the musterfield and plays a few of their favorites. There are plenty of groups to fill the afternoon with fyfe and drum music. Sometimes, the music continues informally well past the close of the faire. As a tradition, the Sudbury Ancients honor their guests with a pennant indicating their attendance at the Sudbury Colonial Faire and Muster of Fyfes and Drums.
