October 27, 2012 started off as a beautiful fall day. Then tensions boiled over, and muskets rang out and cannons blasted as the Colonials and Regulars battled for control on the Red Horse Tavern.
At high noon, the Regulars sent scouts into the Inn and found one unruly lad. We have to report that this fellow did not see the sun set that night. Eventually, the Colonials did repel the Regulars.
Afterwards, the Regulars and Colonials relaxed inside the Inn with the public free to tour the grounds, visit the Inn, grab a bite to eat or join in singing an 18th century song or two.
